Maintenance & Event Support Team Member (Part-Time or Full-Time)

Fire One is hiring a part-time or full-time team member, based on availability and event schedule, to support operations and maintenance.

This is an active role that requires personal initiative and physical work.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down tables, chairs, staging, AV, and event equipment
• Move furniture and equipment safely
• Support food and bar service during busy service by running food or assisting staff during in-house or food truck events. 
• Maintain the building's cleanliness and order during events, including trash removal and cleanup
• Ability to perform minor repairs and basic maintenance as needed
• Keep storage areas organized and accessible
• Prepare spaces for tours, rentals, and programs
• Maintain and secure building property throughout events. 

Requirements

• Position requires bending and lifting, so applicants should be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Proactive and attentive
• Calm during fast-paced events
• Comfortable shifting between maintenance tasks and other tasks when asked
• Respectful of historic property and community partnerships
• Professional appearance
• Reliable transportation
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Non-smokers preferred

Compensation

• $15 to $20 per hour, based on experience
